The materials of the transport system limit the operating temperatures and the charge weight.

At higher temperatures, e.g. 950 – 1000 °C, cast plate conveyors are often used. Robust wire loop belts can also be used. These essential details are clarified in a face-to-face discussion. The advantage of belt furnaces is that the plants can usually be operated without charge carriers. With chain conveyor furnaces, on the other hand, grids, for example, are often used. But here, too, charging is possible without tools.
